Prestressed concrete piles can be installed in 10” and 12” diameters for both residential and commercial applications. Piles can be driven for both stilt home and traditional stem wall or monolithic structures. Round and square treated wood piles are available, as well as specialty piles such as round composite or prestressed spun concrete piles
If seismic activities are an issue to your project and it is necessary to reduce vibration, Atlas has the capability of providing augering services. Our equipment can pre-drill to a depth of twelve feet, or as recommended.
The impact, or lack thereof, our pile driving activities effect on neighboring structures is crucial to our industry. While seismographic monitoring is a requirement by ordinance in some locations of Southwest Florida, it makes good sense to assess each installation on an individual basis.
It is our “good neighbor” policy to inspect and photograph the exteriors of neighboring structures prior to any driven pile installation. If a more detailed analysis, including an interior crack survey, becomes necessary, we will be more than happy to arrange this service with any number of qualified local geotechnical firms.
